Diagnostic Status
The diagnostics block at the top of every Gantry Template Administration Parameters is used to provide an instant feedback on the healthiness of your installation. The diagnostic code checks to ensure the following are valid:
- Template directory is writeable
- gantry-ajax.php file exists in the Gantry template root
- administrator/templates/system/ folder is writeable
- gantry-ajax-admin.php file exists in the administrator/templates/system/ folder
- custom/ directory exists and is writeable
- custom/menuitemparams/ direcotry exists and is writeable
- If custom/presets.ini exists, that it is writeable
- key elements of the Gantry Class are set correctly
If all the checks pass you will see a green-colored box indicating that Gantry is functioning correctly and all features should work as expected.
If any problem is found they will be displayed in a red-colored box outlining exactly what issue was at fault.
Download Diagnostic Info
A new feature we added in Gantry 2.5 is the Download Diagnostic Info link that is located in the Diagnostic Status box. This link will gather up key information and download an archive of this information in a .tgz file onto your local computer. You can then provide this information to the forum moderators who will be able to better diagnose and solve your issue.
